Drum roll please…You are about to experience one of the most priceless and hilarious moments in a nursing home setting. The entertainer is Cary Mock (www.stagetostage.net) who, along with his wife, Alicia (my baby sister), “wowed” a group of residents at a skilled nursing facility.
To be noted: the gentleman (not pictured) who shouts “Amen!” at the end of the performance, lives with dementia. But, there is no doubt that this performance of “On the Sunny Side of the Street” truly connected with him. Also, I must say “Bravo!” to my brother-in-law, Cary who performed very enthusiastically in spite of the fact that he was suffering from extreme physical pain at the time.
