I just returned from presenting a preview launching of “The Golden Experience” at a Volunteer Appreciation Banquet held at McCrite Plaza Retirement Community.
The individual who coordinated the event is Alana Wilson, Director of Fun. I absolutely love her title. And I applaud her efforts to bring the icing on the cake to her residents on a daily basis.
I also applaud the fantastic job she and several of her colleagues did in creating The Golden Experience for every single person who attended tonight’s first-class event. The invitations, menu, awards, and personal touch were fantastic. I was particularly moved by a beautifully crafted poem she wrote entitled, “The Golden Experience” which she delivered before the guest volunteers, then presented to me.
McCrite Plaza is a blessed community, and I am a blessed woman.
