I recently had the pleasure of visiting with a couple of older women during lunch at a skilled nursing facility. In the course of our conversation we discussed the various churches in the county, and the frustration over people being protective of or territorial over their denominations.
“I think when we get to heaven, we won’t identify ourselves by our denominations, don’t ya think?” I probed.
“Don’t you think each church believes in its own heaven?” quipped one of the ladies.
By God, she has a point.
